Hi
I signed up for a sim only contract with orange in march. The sales person also signed me up for home broadband without my permission. I received a router in the post which i returned to the orange shop & was told by the store and customer service that'd be the end of the matter.
Today i received a letter from orange stating "you've now missed another months payments, we've added another £5 late payment fee & we've suspended your services"
So after another visit to the orange shop & chat with customer services, the account is now supposedly been closed. What i'm worried about is whether those 2 months of missed payments will count as defaults?!
The manager in the shop said orange don't report either way to credit ref agencies, which is slightly annoying if true as half the reason i took out the contract was to better my score & 2 it seems a bit odd they credit check you only to not supply the same agency with info on your payment history.
I asked the guy at customer services about the defaults who didn't seem to understand what on earth i was talking about and just kept going on about bailiffs not being called yet.
Just wondering if anyone here knows for sure whether they do report non payments? I've checked my experian report which shows a green 0 for march and nothing showing for april or may.
Can anyone offer any advice on what i should do if anything at all
Thanks

They wouldnt count as defaults, they'd count as missed payments, sometimes they report them, sometimes they don't it really depends, just keep an eye on your credit file and if they are reported as missed payments ask Experian to add a notice of correction0
