I dont want a refund, I want to buy something !

An online retailer that dont like to give an email address is plain stupid !

You hit the contact button and you get a dropdown menu :

I tell them I wish to spend money and buy one of there nice products and the stupid thing gives me a telephone number to call "

I dont want to call them !!!!!! I cant, I'm at bleeding work all day long . I WANT TO EMAIL THEM...........

'deep breaths'

What a backward company CPW is, I use online companys because I have access to the net and email at work. Im not allowed to make telephone calls.

why don`t you try going on their website and buying the product on line,

i`m not aware of any large companies that do business via email instead of taking orders on websites, phonelines etc

Because its a product enquiry. I want to know something specific about the item they sell. The information is not on there website.

Once I have my question answered then I can progress to buy online. But CPW appear to think the customer is telepathic.

Just consider this and think ahead laterally.

If a comapny makes it hard to contact them before you buy, then are they likely to be easier to contact for after sales service?

Indeed if you want to know whay sort of company they are just ask for the address you will need when the contract reaches full term if you want to cancel

There are several threads on here that report that its like getting blood from a stone

I'm well aware of CPW ( and Mobiles.co ) reputation, but I was only after some info on a simple phone for one of my kids thats not in stock in any local CPW store.

I wouldn't go near them with your's regarding contracts or anything over £100 !

But I would have thought even this backward thinking ONLINE ompany had the single brain cell it would take to offer an email contact address for sales enquirys.

If you do get forced into using there phone numbers they fall outside of bundle use ( i.e 08 numbers ). Anyway, Tesco come to the rescue, so ironic that a grocery store know more about mobiles then a mobile phone store.

Not to mention the staff in my local CPW ( did they ever go to school ? )

Well, if you really are a masochist try this number:-

    0800 0855900

In fact, in the time you've spent posting on here you could have found at least a dozen ordinary or free numbers to call just by using "say no to 0870".

Good luck - you'll need it.

While we are on comparisons, personally never had any bother with my quarterly cashback vouchers from shopping at Tesco - and I don't need to claim! :rotfl: :rotfl:
