I was on a late shift so am currently enjoying my 'evening' - after all people who finish work at 5pm don't go to bed at 6pm do they?
I did night shifts for a bit, a few years ago - I think I might have got used to it if I was doing them all the time, but mixing them with day shifts wasn't easy.
Sorry for the delay in replying - the cat came in and got between me and the PC

Actually.. No..................But I found that working with older people .. makes you old.. I didnt like working with old people. simply because.. they gave me a reminder of my future....:cool:0 -
I find that most of my colleagues suffer the same way. They start at 9pm one night then start 2 days later at 7.15am. Its not good for the body.
Mandi, i believe that age is a state of mind, not all old people are the same. My grandfather is 96, lives alone, cooks and cleans for himself and is still bright as a button.Current Debt £1300 - Egg 0%

Nope leaves you permanently feeling jet lagged, takes years off your life. Pays the mortgage though
(Shift work I mean, not health care - as I'm the only person in this thread who doesn't do that it seems
