Afternoon all!
Had a fab day at a special school for children with profound and multiple disabilities today - will be doing this for three weeks at 2 different schools. Absolutely loved it! Think I may have found my niche! To get into teaching at a place like that full time you apparently should do a bit of mainstream teaching first and then move sideways into special needs. Will definitely think seriously about it.

- Checked banks - bursary not in yet but it was late last time too

Hi folks,
Mixed day today.

- didn't buy a can of pop at lunchtime
- went to the wallpaper shop during lunch as its nearer work than home
- drying washing on air dryer
- ordered wallpaper (so not a NSD
) - think I have broken my USB stick which has all my favourite moneysaving lists, graphs, budgets etc on it - I'm seriously gutted. I love looking at the old ones even to see how far I've come. I'm an idiot for not backing it up -heinsight aye!

I was going to say I had a failure today due to buying a hot lunch and coffee at work due to a 12+hr day and several hour drive but then I realised I had:
* received RM refund for lost amazon sale. I refunded customer at the time, and have been waiting for the result of my claim. Got sent a cheque so will bank it at the weekend.
* scanned shopping for nilsson points
* realised whilst scanning that my reduced item went through at wrong price, rung Mr S and been told to bring packaging in next time I come! Only£1 but my £1 not theirs
* put packaging and receipt in car so I will have it whenever I am next in Mr S (more MSE than making a special trip).
* printed my uni work off ready for checking if my late night wordcount reduction was a bit crazy or was good:D
So it is good to have this thread as it helped me realise I was still keeping some MSE habits and it did me good to eat hot food and drink coffee so I was more awake.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -
Hi folks, late one for me . Had to de- ice car this morning  Then it snowed :eek:. This is not funny
Wasn't going to post today as been running around all day since 6 am , but it does help.
Today I have :- Worked hard - lots of extra responsibilities in an effort to retain my job / grade (especially with new government
) - Kept mileage low
- checked banks - tight but not as bad as i thought yesterday
- done a couple of surveys
- caught up with meaningful people in my life - you know who you are

- Still need to write to HMRC - need to get a shift on with this
- Meals from plan
Night all , will try and sleep but ramifications of new government are unnerving , but nothing i can do about it i suppose - just breathe
When it rains look for RainbowsWhen its Dark look for Stars0 - Worked hard - lots of extra responsibilities in an effort to retain my job / grade (especially with new government
