Hello Heidi,
Have sent you an email.0 -
Right, now that we have someone willing to help :j.............. wait a minute, got a reply from them, whoooopps!

"Regarding the issues you are currently having with Vodafone Spain, we are unable to help as we don't have access to Spanish accounts, but you can email them at soporte@vodafone.es."
 Ah, it seems they never actually read the thread properly, to recap:
I took out an 18 month contract with vodafone Spain for a mobile internet dongle.
After the free offer period expired, I noticed vodafone were taking 2 amounts from my bank account.
I subsequently sent a number of emails to vodafone through their website but had no reply.
I called them a few times on their expensive 902 number but the calls don't appear to have been logged because I was making a complaint.
I posted details of my complaint on the various vodafone forums including Spain, only to find they'd been removed a few hours later.
After 15 months, I cancelled the direct debit at the bank as vodafone had then taken 24 payments from me.
vodafone called and threatened me with me legal action unless I pay them more money. I explained to them why I'd cancelled the direct debit. They were not interested and called me a liar.
So, at the end of the day, vodafone owe me money and rekon they're going to take me to court, they have no interest in the truth or the evidence and they are simply going to bully me into paying - or so they think!
I will send the other information they're asking for to unlock the mobile phone but guess I might have the same problem with this as it's an old Spanish one.
Just to make it absolutely clear here - all my issues are with vodafone Spain. That said, vodafone Spain are part of the vodafone group which is worldwide. In my experience vodafone Spain have no customer support so I do not accept that it is only vodafone Spain that can be involved here.
Simply giving me the general email address for the so called vodafone support team in Spain is not acceptable and is a further waste of my time. I want the details of somone in vodafone who is actually prepared to do something and resolve this (or is this too much to ask?).

Hi hairymonster2000,
I am sorry to hear that you are still unhappy.
I have done some further digging around and found a contact in Vodafone Spain that I have passed your details onto to get this matter resolved. They will be in touch with you shortly.
I have also sent you an email just to confirm this. If there is anything else I can help with then feel free to drop me a reply email.
Kind regards,
Heidi

Ahhhhh....vodafone and their "helpful" WRT (Web Relations Team). I had a perfect 30 yr credit history trashed thanks to these morons. Common sense seems completely lacking to this company.
Firstly, for your kind info...credit history files are held for only 60 months ;-)
so what you appear to be claiming as "perfect 30 years" is generally not seen by lenders.
Secondly, please care to explain how a company like vodafone can thrash your credit history?0 -
Time for an update! Heidi, true to her word, did find someone in vodafone Spain prepared to take notice of this fiasco. Not only that, the person who contacted me in Spain immediately worked out what had gone wrong following a full explanation and resolved it above and beyond my expectations. Now that's what I call customer service!! Good on yer vodafone.
More importantly, good on yer Heidi, and Beatriz in Spain. These two are an example of what customer service is all about. As far as I'm concerned, vodafone, and other companies, can learn a massive amount from these two.
Don't get me wrong, I haven't gone all soft in the head. Would I now recommend vodafone? I'm afraid that would still have to be a resounding no because there are too many people in their customer care department who don't care. I mean no disrespect to Heidi and Beatriz when I say that.
When I can see that vodafone have started employing people who aren't there just for their pay cheque at the end of the month then I may be persuaded to change my mind.
Once again, hats off to Heidi and Beatriz for getting this resolved. Thank you.
(we're all to quick to shout out when something goes wrong and so we should, but we all too often forget to commend the people who take ownership of our problem and get it resolved - I hope this post goes some way to redress the balance)0
