    I have just been given an ultimatum by vodafone Spain to pay up or they'll send me a solicitors letter demanding payment.

    Fact - vodafone have overcharged me in excess of 500 euros and refuse to acknowledge it, also refusing to accept the evidence as shown on my bank statements.

    They have no interest in the fact that they have been overcharging me and are not interested in the truth. They just have one script that is basically - you pay up or we pass it to the solicitors.

    Let this be a warning to all current and potential vodafone customers!!

    Vodafone UK and Spain might have the same parent company but they operate independently and have their own customer services.

    vodafone uk and vodafone spain may operate as different entities but they are both vodafone and there is a link via the parent company as you say.

    You appear to be making the assumption that vodafone spain actually have customer services. I cannot find anyone in vodafone who is prepared to make any effort to resolve the issues I have with them, just the opposite.

    From personal experience, vodafone do not care about the customer, they cannot read, they do not listen to reasoned arguments and they're not interested in the truth.

    Regardless of which country I'm in, the experience is vodafone!

    Ahhhhh....vodafone and their "helpful" WRT (Web Relations Team). I had a perfect 30 yr credit history trashed thanks to these morons. Common sense seems completely lacking to this company.

    Thank you for your invitation. I shall contact you shortly then together we can perhaps make some headway with the Spanish arm of the company.

    All I've wanted from the outset is for someone in vodafone to take the initiative. I realise you cannot act directly and am pleased that you are going to do what I would have done had I been in your position.

    In respect of returning to the thread, this only happened because vodafone spain decided they wanted to bully me into paying and refused to take on my complaint so this has to be the first point of contact as it creates continuity should it be needed.

    Just when I thought something was going to happen, vodafone customer services appear to lower their standards to another level with idiots sending out stupid emails.

    Don't wish to sound disrespectful Lee but vodafone customer services just don't seem to have a clue. In fact I would say from personal experience that most of them are working in the wrong department.

    I cannot remain polite indefinitely.
  • Oh well, here we are another week on and still nobody appears to have actually taken ownership despite the promises.
