It's often to do with the packaging being unsuitable [as opposed to the contents]; so cartons can go soggy and then leak when defrosting [often].

Surely, they put the notice on the bottle for some reason? I have been freezing milk for years too, but never seen the new warning on this before!
I have actually tried it, the milk is weaker almost skimmed, but I am still not happy about any health issues that may ensue.
There aren't any health issues - as long as you don't keep freezing and defrosting it multiple times.
It's a flavour/consistency issue.0
