Tesco Milk- Read the small print!

I bought 2 bottles of 'Tesco Pure' semi skimmed Milk for the freezer.
It wasn't until I took one out of the Freezer that I noticed the small print words 'Not suitable for home freezing'.
I did not realize that it was Homogonised as it did not say so on the front of the bottle!
Do I now throw the milk away- if so why- what difference does it make to the milk once it has been frozen- will it be safe to use???????

I hadn't noticed that either, but I find the long dates on the 'Pure' milk mean I don't freeze it anyway , the dates on the ones I bought on Sat are nearly a month hence. sorry I don't know if it would be alright to use it ...#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

Ignore that, we have frozen milk and reused it for years.Approach her; adore her. Behold her; worship her. Caress her; indulge her. Kiss her; pleasure her. Kneel to her; lavish her. Assert to her; let her guide you. Obey her as you know how; Surrender is so wonderful! For Caroline my Goddess.0

It will be safe.
There may be a small drop off in flavour that many people wouldn't notice.
It may separate - it will still be safe.0 -
Just wonder why it actually says on the container thats its 'not suitable for home freezing', I've not seen that on milk before..#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

Perhaps they should save money and test the one they've bought, frozen and are enquiring about. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -
I'll get all mine out of the freezer now and give it to my cat (Profanity filter prevents the use of Pu55Y on this site!)0

Surely, they put the notice on the bottle for some reason? I have been freezing milk for years too, but never seen the new warning on this before!
I have actually tried it, the milk is weaker almost skimmed, but I am still not happy about any health issues that may ensue. You live..You learn.:)0 -

Vast majority of milk is homogenised these days. Do you mean it's not homogenised? If so it does go a bit funny after freezing because the fat separates out (being in it's normal state and not spread throughout the milk). Still perfectly usable, just looks a bit yucky!I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care
