European mobile phone contracts?

Hello,

I should be moving to France soon but still will be working in UK (from France) so I need a mobile that will cover Europe really and cheap calls....Any idea if that exists and what would be the best options?

France to UK calls work out as 37p per minute (for example, the Three network charges 50p per minute). there is no cost to receive a call from UK to France (for example, Three charge you I think 10p per minute for recevied calls).

The cheapest deal will be to get a French contract phone but you'll struggle to get one without a French address. The mobile market is not quite as competitive and aggressive as it is in the UK so there are less good deals to be found generally.
