Darling, I think you now have to tell the selfish pig to !*%$ off. I am so angry and upset for you and I haven't even met you!
Makes me so angry, some people just don't care about anything but themselves! At least you won't have to pay for that whiney uncaring man.

I would have replied: "Oh that saves me an invitation and the stamp, thanks for letting me know!"

:rotfl:I did say shall I bother to send the invite then? She quicky shut up at that point.
  • Lots of hugs going out to everyone, makes my family seem normal! xxx

I keep drafting and redrafting guestlists at the moment, want to leave some family off the list I.e cousins on my mums side that I only see once in a blue moon (don't really want to pay for them as money is tight already) but then worried about upsetting their parents as we will be inviting my cousin on my dads side, who I speak too all the time...... also my parents are after 14 years of divorce pretty bitter still and worried about my mum having one too many and lumping my dad one..oh and my two best friends don't like each other so thats gonna be fun fun fun...getting more and more tempted to just run away and get the wedding over and done with!
I love food, hate waste and have a penchant for sparkly things ::D

Trying to find a work life balance...:rotfl:

If you don't want her BF there, don't invite him.

I can't stand it when other people are annoyed because someone else they want to go isn't invited! Do they not realise it's not their wedding so they have no say in it? Grrrrrr!

Has she been with the BF for long?

You poor thing - familes can be the very best and the very worst thing in your life. I am getting married abroad largely because my mum - who I love dearly but is very very Catholic - won't come when I get married as I'm divorced. She loves my OH but feels she can't "condone" my choice as its against her religion. It would break my heart for her to be so obviously not there, so OH and I are going to a beach to be just us two together and after all, that's what matters most.
Don't let them grind you down - this is about love after all, and if they can't show it when you offer it, its their loss.

Oh don't invite him them if you don't know him! Or just invite him to the evening maybe?

We're having 35 to the day, well 32 now if OH's 3 don't come lol, and about 100 to the night.

I'd love to have more to the day, but we can't afford it, and if you invite one, you got to invite them all and it's just never bloody ending! :rotfl:
