:rotfl: Well, you worked it out quicker than the intended recipient did.
But then, men are a bit slower. :T "I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Night everyone. I have 508 more words to cull somehow. I'm hoping I can do that tomorrow in an evening sitting, as I am aiming to get this to my tutor for weds, then leave work early (as in on-time) on Friday and drop it at uni.Debt at highest: £8k. Pap~You so do not need to get me anything.
I had them spare.Glad they arrived.
OU query~Just hopefully finished my ECA.
Is there a penelty for being under the word count does anyone know?
MInd you thinkI am past caring TBH.
Good news katsu
On my course it's fine if you're within 10%, and you can go beyond that once, if it happens again there's a penalty.Have been celebrating the end in sight of ECA by eating lots of chocolate.
Tomorrow will check it over & redo word count.
Print it off.
Just going to put each copy in a a4 pocket & then can post.Phew.
Hope its all straightforward.
Don't you find it easier to submit online?900 words left to remove. I have not yet taken the step my tutor recommended of moving some text to the appendices - to summarise it in a sentence and drop the detailed paragraphs into an appendix. I'm scared of doing it so have been putting it off, but having thinned out 500 words by pruning, I'm unlikely to be able to get the other 900 without serious text revision
Feels good tho, to be getting it pruned.
I don't know about appendices, but it drives me mad with the OU. References have to be in the body of the text but don't count towards the word count (no idea how you're supposed to find out the word count without them, lots of time consuming cutting and resaving and stuff I assume). But footnotes do count towards the word count. At Leeds uni it was all done by footnote and didn't count unless they were really long.
Pap, love the hair! I need to do mine but I use chemical permanent dye so it's over and done with.
Whoever asked about my course, my politics one is going fine, just the big long project essay to do now, but I still haven't heard from the economics tutor about the extension I asked for two weeks ago! I'm going to email the regional centre tomorrow if I can find a tactful way of saying it.
Back from the theatre, Death of a Salesman, very hard going. Catching up on tonight's tv before bed.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
I added it to the end of some messages to a particular person. To be fair, I actually encrypted it too, but he did cheat and programmed his computer to try to crack my code.scaredy_cat wrote: »aww.. that's sweet Snags...

It is really cold here tonight, definitely looks like there is going to be frost. My kids have planted seeds and they have all sprouted in trays on my bedroom windowsill, glad they haven't been planted out yet. Couldn't deal with tears over dead plants.0
