DD1 off to a party.. in a rather little dress that I told her you could see her pubic hair hanging out the bottom of..

    Just off to tesco...

and it is NEVER wine o'clock in here.. wine is the most vile of liquids.. I'd rather drink washing up liquid!

Triker.. you could bother us for coffee if you are bored?!

mental note to self - do not griddle steak and saute potatoes (for lovely and hardworking DH :EasterBunwhen SS is out for the night) after wine o'clock.....

we really need an air filter oven hood thingy..

on the positive side the smoke alarm works!

I'm a bit worried that the smiley you're using is also influenced by wine o'clock

And if you're on FB... I have a dilemma that needs your input!

I thought it was great too.

Pigpen - fairy nuff re the wine - everyone to their own poison. Now I cant stand spirits in any form and think hot chocolate is utterly vile to the point of vomiting. Also any drink with involving cream of marshmallows is just vile, be it alcoholic or not.

Greenbee - the smiley was deliberate - do you know how rarely I see my Dh without an audience these days :D I just hope my mother isn't lurking today .

    *glow*

    I did it!
DD helped - she turned the spanner (she wanted to)
    ...but
    water off
    handle off
    carrier off
    old cartridge removed (spanner job)
tap cleaned when all fitments removed - parts not normally seen/accessible (am Flylady)
    new cartridge fitted
    carrier fitted
    handle fitted but off centre
    handle removed
    carrier realigned
    handle fitted correctly
    water turned back on

    IT WORKS!
