DS1 and DS2 did their Reading SAT today. The both seemed happy with how they have done. The boy I was sitting with at my school attempted most of the questions but has probably picked up 5 marks at best. It is so frustrating as I know he his a bright and capable boy and if I had asked him to read the questions out loud and answer them orally he would have been able to give me good answers to all the questions.

I got a full description at 3.30pm of how gold was discovered in the Yukon in Canada in 1896, how if you got all the gold in the world that has ever been found, it would form a block 2m cubed and would fit easily underneath the Eiffel Tower....... I hope she wrote something down, as this stuff is going to be stuck in her head (and mine now) forever for no reason, otherwise

Got roped into helping OH this afternoon but got most of the list done:

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining room
Level One
mop floor - will do this tonight before bed so it can dry
Level Two
Bake a cake

Level Three - Done
Extras - Done
MY Extras as and when:

1. Sort out what craft books to go on ebay (yeah I know it was free listing day)
2. Sort out box of photos
3. Shampoo front room carpet - half done (when it's dry tomorrow will move sofas back and do the rest)
4. Do some shredding
5. Do some unfinished bead project
6. Do unfinished macrame bag project
7. Get off my behind and do some exercise!
8. Read some of body clutter book

Well turns out KH is not unemployed and just lying to CSA to fend them off for a bit, they are in hot pursuit!

How carp a person would you have to be not to pay the basic minimum for your child?

I have just over a pound of frozen blackberries and about two pounds of clementines. I have lemon juice, but no lemons and would really like marmalade as I remeber making it with my Grannie

Sorry for the late response, I was out until 5 mins ago (OH came rushing in and told me we had to leave asap cos we were late)...

the same kind that fathered my children.. the CSA said he had to pay £410 a month.. he occasionally puts about £90 in looking at the bank statements from February.. before that he paid nothing.
