I REALLY want to make marmalade (blueberry jam was made in case things went wrong so I must be psychic )

ETA: thinking about it, am going to view my soon-to-be new house again tonight so will pick up some more sugar on the way home and make it when the ankle-biters are in bed :D Any tips *ahem* Valli??

    *is rumbled*

Blueberry jam sounds overboiled tbh - just soak the pan in water though to dissolve the sugar.

Tellme what fruit you have and what you're wanting to make.
    (inc weight)

    Got any lemons?

Pen-pen and Potty also preserve -

Got loads done in that last HHC, re-laid the LR fire, sorted the mag rack, hoovered all through the house, washed the hoover filters, loaded the DW and found a recipe as per the list for dinner tonight.

Really worth keeping clear of gibble.

    And children :D

Got theory test tomorrow so need to find copy of the Highway Code and [STRIKE]revise[/STRIKE] look at it for the first time.

Took DD to coffee shop for hot chocolate and lemon cheesecake as it's KS2 SATs and her school is one of the few not boycotting it.

Feet hurt so much by the time we were nearly home, plodded back the last quarter mile in my socks.

Wiped over cooker and counters, swept up the detrius from today's mining expedition in the litter tray - five foot away from it - and cannot spend another moment on my feet, especially as I went over on my ankle 3 times this afternoon on uneven pavements. So back to square one and probably back into the compression cast thingy again :(

Now I have no intention of moving my butt from this settee for anything other than a cuppa or bedtime!

I am home :j shame I had to spend most of my afternoon attending to a very flat battery, so flat the hazard warning light didn't come on. Garage have checked the car, told me to take it for a long run and take it back so they could check it. Very good service from a national company and it hasn't cost me a penny!

DS1 and DS2 did their Reading SAT today. The both seemed happy with how they have done. The boy I was sitting with at my school attempted most of the questions but has probably picked up 5 marks at best. It is so frustrating as I know he his a bright and capable boy and if I had asked him to read the questions out loud and answer them orally he would have been able to give me good answers to all the questions.

Give one small appliance a good clean! Micro done (how does it always get so mucky?!)
Bake a cake or find something new too cook.. see what you can make from your cupboard contents!!! Ooh, Piggers is psychic; I have cheese'n'onion pie on the meal plan today, which is from a recipe I haven't done before! Also making apple crumble.
Straighten the shelf of cookbooks! All straight; and I even have Post-its marking the pages I use regularly!
    Level Three
Wipe the table, replace the cloth if needed and dust and deweb! Done
Clean through the cupboard Done as best I can. Fortunately it wasn't very grubby.:o
    S&S fridge/hob Done
    Extras
    1. Tidy up all the window sills! Done
    2. Empty and wash out bins! Done
    3. Dust/wipe/wash blinds/curtains etc Curtains washed recently, so they're fine.
    4. Clear the top of the fridge and freezer!! Deffo a Mr LW job – I can't reach properly, even on the step stool! I need him to get the BM down tonight, got to do bread rolls tomorrow, so I'll ask him to clean it while he's up there:A (BM lives on top of fridge-freezer when not in use).
That's it - I'm done for! Mr LW has just phoned to say he's on his way home; oven is on, pie and crumble going in in a few minutes, and I'm hoping Mr LW will offer to wash up after dins (he usually does:A) as I don't think I can do another thing today.

Jojo very best of luck with your theory test tomorrow.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Is it bedtime yet...... I'm knackered.

    I've done my plastering/ bonding/ whatever it's called.:rotfl:
Done bathroom, utility room and kitchen. Utility room should only need a bit of sanding, i hope, then i can start the painting.:D
I've managed to get gloss on abit of the tiled floor so i'll have a search to see how i can get it off, it's dryed on.
Still need to gloss the bathroom, help DD with homework and do abit more in the kitchen.

Pigpen your room is lovely, well done.:T
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
