    Success!

A combination of brute force, ignorance, and a large kitchen knife were all that were needed :D

(Although Jinks I'm not suggesting that as a solution to your problems :p)

Lunch, then baking so I can finish Mondays list :A

  • Afternoon.

    Jinky Hope you are ok.

Not got much done flying wise but made phone calls that had to be done, put washing in td and sorted bank accounts.
If anyone has any suggestions for what to bake I would be grateful. I am one of those people who buys all the ingredients so they look good in the cupboard:o

Sunnygirl good luck with the training this week:T:T

Thanks Toots...but disaster has struck this morning.....I have woken up with a very sore foot. Really don't know why as I've not fallen or banged it or anything. Went to bed as normal last night and woke up not being able to walk on it. It seems to be easing as the day goes on so I'm hopeful that it'll be ok for the weekend but rather than do an 8km run tonight I'll rest it. Told SIL I'll babysit her kids while she goes thought!!!He He He....she's not getting out of it too!

Sunnygirl - I might spot you from my window next sunday then (not that I'd know) if the route goes down wilmslow road! Good luck for the run!

Thanks hun. You won't be spotting me from there though (unless I take a wrong turn LOL) The route we take is from the centre of town and down to Old Trafford and back in again. You can look out for me on tv as its all televised. I'll be the one in a heap on the floor being assisted by St. Johns ambulance!!!!!

I've been to the shop, and since getting back realised that I can't open my bottle of vanilla essence. Will have to wait until boyf comes home, or smash it open

If the metal is that cheap and carp then maybe you can pierce a hole in the top with a tin opener. Means you don't have to wait but then you might have to decant it into something else to seal it again.

Jinky....hugs hun. Hope the day gets better for you. x

determined new ms...welcome to the thread. Good luck with your first flylady week!

Really need to get some work done now. Ended up working from home because of my foot but so far I have put WM & TD on, emptied DW, folded and taked washing upstairs, done a general sweep of the lounge and a general tidy of the kitchen. Oh and sprayed DD2's bedroom and the bathroom with mould spray. Although that's all work unfortunately none of it is paid!!
