Been super busy this morning - got up and ready, fed kids and myself, cleaned up the kitchen (breakfast pots etc), picked up in all other rooms, took DD1 to pre-school, took DD2 for a walk around local park, got home and put a load of washing in and now SOAADFA... Well, I'm entering a few competitions... Will be getting up to start on the list soon though. Shouldn't take too long as gave the kitchen a good going over last week... Oven still needs doing though :o

    Morning ladies (and gent!)

Have skimmed through the thread this morning, hugs to all who need them, good week vibes to everyone too.

Onestep - good luck on gluten-free, my mum is wheat-free, if you are stuck for ideas send me a PM and I'll see if I can help :)

Diva - I'm so sorry to hear that you had to have another op, hope this one is more successful, and how nice that you had all your lovely plants to come home to.

Rose - I don't think I answered you asking how I am last week, brain-like-a-sieve me, so I'll send you a quick PM now.

crafty - HAIL?? It's MAY!!! It's all grey and overcast here, but no hail!

Notso - We used to hatch chicks sometimes, kept them in the dining room (mum went spare [STRIKE]if[/STRIKE] when they got out of the box and started wandering around), so it was really nice to read about Lucky! When the clucking gets loud enough to keep you up at night it's time for him to go outside!

    Have a nice day everyone!

    Plan for today:
    Phone Monika in Germany (eek)
    Organise hotel for Frankfurt
    Prep for exams
Shop - icing sugar, butter, free boxes for packing
    Bake lemon cupcakes
    Check declutter thread list

Ok, a sort of (another) off topic post but I'm fairly sure I saw a rat in next doors (very messy, cluttered ) garden, have had a look at the online council but can't seem to find what I'm looking for, oh I know I'll have a look for a thread but any advice most welcome....Thanks..........it's kind of flying related. I suposse......

I don't know if anyone has answered your question. We called the council last week about rats in next doors garden. It cost £35 per household and the person who reports it has to pay. I rang our local district council and spoke to the environmental department. They sent Rentokil and will keep coming back until all signs of them have gone.

We have to take our hen feeder in at night as they were probably using it as their source of food. :o

Thank you to all who run this thread.

I am going to try to do more this week. Off for a HHC at 11

    Todays extras
    Post 3 ebay parcels
    Check bank balance

That was a good HHC, I washed up, tidied bathroom a bit ready for cleaning later, and turned off the freezer (well, all the kitchen plugs as I don't know which one is the freezer!), and emptied it, it's needed defrosting for so long I can hardly get anything in there, so am pleased I've finally got time to do it.
Thanks Carol, I will go read your PM now x

morning all, please count me in this week.

I have no option, but to opt in this week, as the in-laws are coming over next week. This house needs a military regime if it is going to be presentable for next Tuesday.
Good looking list for Mon, shall aim to complete it all, heres hoping!
