only if you come and fix the new guttering to my roof... I'd do it but I think I might get moaned at for being on the roof at 6 months pregnant lol... plus there is the minor terror of heights things... I demand cupcakes and copious amounts of tea while working too...
Probably wouldn't be any good at the guttering, but could certainly supply cupcakes and tea :D

In the office today. Very stressful getting ready as I do not appear own a single skirt suit that fits me... I realise that this is good in many ways BUT not hugely convenient, so I need to do something about it at the weekend and then work out when I'm going to get everything altered.... looks like I need to have a trying on session for work clothes so I can bit a bit more organised.

    Morning all,

I'm in again this week, thanks for the thread everyone!

Haven't had chance to catch up with last week's thread, but lots of love to the poorlies xx

:TThank you also for all the lovely hugs & healing/coping vibes for me & DD. I'm chuffed to say she came home yesterday. :j She's still coughing & is very tired, but looks much better. We don't know what brought it on, other than her having a bad cold, but it was too scary, poor lass. Seeing DD in resus room in A&E and then in HDU was awful. Paramedics & all hospital staff have been fab though. Anyway she's not gone to 6th form today, so I'm off work to keep an eye on her, don't want to leave her on her own.

Anyway, flying-wise, DH listed loads of his [STRIKE]carp[/STRIKE] 'stuff kept as it might be useful one day' on ebay last night, and I put some spare Yankee bits on that I won't use. If they all sell for the start price it will be just over £100, nice bonus!

This is still my plan for today. DH is doing the extra bit on the wooden table and chairs and I'm making a fabby chili and brown rice from what's lurking in the cupboard, fridge and freezer.
My one small appliance will probably be the microwave...

Lots and lots of gardening going on also, plus I need to fit in my nightly run. Nevermind, dh is back :A It will all fall into place in the end!

  • Morning lovely flyladies,

Tiredanddesperate - that chick certainly wanted to live! Though once he starts crowing at stupid O'clock you may love him less..giggle.gif

Yes I know. But we have chickens & a cockerel at the moment so I know how much noise he is going to make . Our neighbours have chickens as well & I'll ask them if they still have their cockerel - they might have 'Bob' (our current cockerel named by children, obviously) because I think we will have to keep Lucky :rotfl:

    Notso
I'm not so tired & not so desperate..... mainly thanks to MSE :D so just call me Notso.....
Yes, I'm juggling and I might drop some.... but at least I'm trying ;)

Morning all. I'm in again this week, thanks to the coalition government who keep us going :D.

Diva - Of course we missed you, apart from your lovely thoughtful purple posts, it's hard to find the start of a new day when you aren't here :p. Hope you are recovering better this time.
Pigpen - well done on the decorating, hope the carpet and decluttering go well. Loving the list today, thanks.
Special hugs for Lady-L and Toots and anyone else who feels like one.
MrsChaos - sounds like hard work in the garden, hope it goes well with the sheds on Tuesday and there aren't too many spiders.

Have done dailies but won't fly till later - hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work I go...

    Later x
