Back hall now glossed. Rhys feed, changed and in bed. Cuppa then i'll go look for the filler stuff.

    Jinky big hugs.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

In the HHC (thanks for the impetus to do something Lemanie) I've cleaned every flat surface in the kitchen, removed the spiders' latest offerings and got stuff out ready to do the cooking task.

  • Yes, thanks lemanie. I got the coffee cleaned up. It's amazing how far it went:rotfl: Kitchen and dining room swept and generally cleaned. DD swimming gear packed.

One cake is done but the other is still in the oven. Not sure how that happened.

Right, let's see what's on this 'ere list..... I shall do what I can, aided by adrenaline and sheer bl00dy-mindedness!:D

made me smile - I suspect that many flyladies are powered by the same stuff :D.

In that HHC I; quick tidied the whole house including putting all the ironing away from yesterday and as much of the dry washing as I could, the rest is doing nicely on the line. S&S the bathroom and toilets, emptied the bins and cleared the recycling. I'm ready to go again 2.15 - 2.45 HHC anyone?

List is getting shorter. Really struggling to motivate myself to do it. I decluttered a long put off phone call but felt even worse when I put the phone down.

I must get this house ship shape. I have half the town coming Wednesday night for a Jamie Oliver Party. I'm definately suffering from CHAOS syndrome.

DIVA - Sorry to hear you've been so poorly.
    JINKY - Hugs
LAMEWOLF - Hope your knees aren't giving you to much trouble after your HHC.

Crack..... that was the whip to get me going.

Plain or SR flour? I used plain (I work under the assumption that SR is just plain flour with baking powder in it - please correct me if I'm wrong, which I am often :o:rotfl:)

How much is a cup or is it just an ordinary mug? A cup is a unit of measurement (see here for conversion http://www.preparedpantry.com/how-to-measure-flour-convert-cups-ounces.aspx - I have a set of cups at home so have never bothered converting :D)

What is the difference between baking powder and baking soda? I think baking soda is bicarbonate of soda (that's what I used)

Would you like to come round and bake it for me? No thanks - I have been for a walk to pick up some pro-biotic yogurt to make HM yogurt and forgot to get the milk :rotfl:

Hope this helps and hopefully if I am wrong someone will jump in and correct me :)

Hugs jinky (sorry, I keep writing kinky by mistake so if I've ever done that in the past and not corrected oops!!!).

DD is doing sats today and is very excited about it - her school makes it lots of fun so they're all going in early to have breakfast together before they start!

I've made some no points butternut squash and red pepper soup - it's delish! Shame the bread rolls I like to have with it aren't no points too:rotfl:.

I've also cleaned the kitchen, washed some new towels and now I'm going to have a look at today's list to see if I can claim a star ever again in my life...don't hold your breath!

    Hugs to all xx

Ok, a sort of (another) off topic post but I'm fairly sure I saw a rat in next doors (very messy, cluttered ) garden, have had a look at the online council but can't seem to find what I'm looking for, oh I know I'll have a look for a thread but any advice most welcome....Thanks..........it's kind of flying related. I suposse......

    Hi

I think it depends on the council, you should phone for advice. When i saw a rat in my garden from about 4 or 5 gardens up (a few of the neighbours had seen them and tracked them down!!!) anyway, they phoned the council and they put poison down and i phoned and they offered to put poison down in my garden as well but as i have 3 small kids, a dog and rabbit that is always running around out there i decided not to. But they were not going to charge me. They said they couldnt do anything about the actual garden they were coming from unless that person reported it. Not seen any since so assume it worked!

    anyway...

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining room - DONE :j

cake is baking and smells yummy!!!! i have also recleaned the floor and surfaces after a flour accident and screwed the plug socket back onto the wall as i pulled it off when taking the charger out of it for my bissel flip to re-clean floor!!! :p
