Just got a cheap Nexus One on Vodafone ...

I've just got hold of a 'cheap' Nexus One on Vodafone - I signed up for the 18mth deal, £35 per mth, with the phone costing £59 on sign-up.
After all the credit checks etc., the chap rang it up in their system. But the £59 initial cost of the phone didn't show up. It was 'checked' by someone else in the store - maybe the manager? - but as far as they were concerned it was right. So, £59 off.
This was in the Luton store, today (Sunday) around 1630. Maybe just a fluke, but maybe an incorrect setting on Vodafone's systems? If it is and someone else gets a similar deal before its found out, then good effort.
Good luck!

How is this cheap when a Desire can be had for free £25 monthly with a better data package ? They are essentially the same device.0 -
the nexus 1 on vodafone gets 1gb internet limit while desire on vodafone gets 500mb limit. but buying a nexus 1 elsewhere and then taking sim only deal might work out cheaper i guess.
both the nexus 1 and the desire have their plus points although some reviews put the desire higher. for example tech radar doesnt have the nexus 1 even in the top 10 if i remember right and they have the desire on number 1, iphone 3gs on 2, legend on 3 etc. but i guess every reviewer will have their own preferences and dislikess (probably might be better calling it other incentives for writing the 'right' reviews i guess!) just like all us users have our own preferences.bubblesmoney :hello:0
