Hi
Looking to transfer some AVI files from my PC to a DVD+R for playing on either PS3 or my DVD player.
I've tried using DVD Flick but neither PS3 or DVD player can recognise the files.
Any suggestions / alternative software?
Thanks!

nero 9 if you've got it
works great for mt0 -
If DVD Flick doesn't work, you are doing something wrong. Maybe your DVD player doesn't play DVD+R . Try DVD-R.0

Great FREE program, DVDStyler can encode almost anything, add a DVD menu and burn direct to DVD ready to play, very simply.
Just find the video file in the left pane, drag it onto the right to create DVD menu item just using defaults and hit burn. Can me made more attractive as much as you want if you wish, but defaults get you started.0 -
thanks Browntoa. Query - why do I need both packages?0 -
ConvertXtoDVD is a good program to convert Avi files to DVD

Spoke a bit too soon. The file has copied onto DVD but some of the recording is not great - e.g. when there is a lot of 'information' on the screen, it seems to slow down and 'block' a bit.
Any suggestions gratefully received!0 -
I use windows dvd maker - worked a treat. It's easier to get forgiveness than to ask permission0
