Cosmos Mobile Phone Health Study
I got an invitation from Cosmos to take part in a huge study into mobile phones and their effect on health. Apparently it will run for about 30 years.
I was tempted, but then I read that they want to follow your medical records, need your NHS number, etc. I'm not sure if I'd feel comfortable with that.
Has anyone else been invited, and if so what have you decided? What is everyones thoughts on this?

I think I wouldn't bother.0

Sounds dubious. The "researchers" are likely to be dead or retired before the study is finished and by then the technology would be so out of date that it would laughable. Steer clear.0

Well it's with COSMOS and the Imperial College, I've researched and know they're legit. But like you say, who replaces someone when they get gangrene/run over by a car/etc and also, I have no idea what I'll be doing in 20 years. And there's the fact that huge databases of info like what would be required in this study usually get left on a train or in a taxi. I agree, I think I shall be saying 'No ta'.0
