we have a gas BBQ and it's great, same size as your, would be looking at around 15 minutes to cook stuff, less if on the higher setting but I like to cook them a bit slower to make sure they get cooked all the way through.

Strangely enough you can do this on a gas BBQ by twiddling the knob, on a charcoal BBQ you have to raise the grill or wait till the coals have gone out a bit more.

Gas BBQ every time, makes less of a stink of the neighbours washing too...

hand it back to them as is, there will be room in the van for it!

just double check the gas bottle was switched on fully though, it is normally 3 oclock, 9 oclock or 12 o;clock positions, not somewhere in between.;)

    Thanks for your replies.
I did check the valves, and the bottle.
It's now partly dismantled, mainly cleaned (eew) sat in it's box waiting to be taken away.
What do I do with a nearly full gas bottle ? Big one.

Gas BBQ`s are a waste of time..whats the point of them if you use gas, and not charcol? You may as well cook stuff on your cooker then take it outside.... lol.
