Does this mean you have to eat other things with them too?
My daughter has been eating the cereal & milk ones & said they were very nice, It does say on the box you should also eat a low fat yoghurt, A portion of fruit & a cup of tea or coffee with it to make it a balanced breakfast.0 -

Wheat Flour (54%), Vegetable Oil, Wholemeal Wheat Flour (16%), Sugar, Partially Inverted Sugar Syrup, Raising Agents (Sodium Bicarbonate, Tartaric Acid, Malic Acid), Salt, Dried Skimmed Milk
Belvita
Cereals 66.4% [Wheat Flour 47.1%, Wholegrain Cereals 19.3% of which (Oat Flakes 44.1%, Whole Wheat Flour 32.0%, Barley Wholegrain Flour 23.9%)], Sugar, Vegetable Fat, Rye Flour 4.6%, Raising Agents (Ammonium Hydrogen Carbonate, Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate, Sodium Diphosphate), Whole Milk Powder 0.9%, Skimmed Milk Powder 0.9%, Whey Powder, Salt, Emulsifiers (E 472e, Soya Lecithin), Flavouring, Vitamins and Minerals Mixture [Vitamin B1 (Thiamin), Vitamin B3 (Niacin), Vitamin B6, Vitamin B9 (Folic Acid), Iron, Magnesium], CONTAINS: WHEAT, OAT, BARLEY, RYE, SOYA, MILK, MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF EGGS, PEANUTS, NUTS, SESAME AND POPPY SEEDS
Hardly the same thing.
But they don't say they are a breakfast, they say they are PART of a balanced breakfast.
So where is this similar thing for 1/4 of the price?
They are both about 70 % cereals with sugar, veg fats and milk products added. Not much difference at all.
Apart from some vitamin fortification which is totally unneeded unless you are in top level athletic training or are ill, if you eat an otherwise balanced diet.
BTW they have taken the word gullible out the dictionary. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

Very handy to grab to eat on the train, I am not a morning person and this saves me valuable time. I do try to get them on offer though. 34p ish a serving isn't too bad though but 17p is better
I normally pour some skimmed milk into a bottle and have that to drink with them. They do sometimes last me till lunch, tends to depends on how occupied I am. Does as good a job as a bowl of cereal. Mid morning fruit is probably the answer.

ok, they may be fortified but to me its just like eating for biscuits for breakfast, surely just as easy to grab a piece of wholegrain toast....the more ingredients a food product has the more likely its artificial. wont be buying these0
