    Morning everyone

Was up early this morning and hung out the washing from yesterday, it was nearly dry but now it will get that 'outdoor' smell.

Would like to say that I have now finished all the housework but have been surfing on here instead :rotfl:

I have done something constructive though, have signed up with weightwatchers and will go to my first meeting on Thursday. Meant I had to weigh myself and that wasn't a happy moment:eek: I would have preferred to go to SW but there are no meetings near me at a time that is suitable, the ww one is on my way home from work so no excuses there then!

Am now going to give OH a ring and then hang some more washing out, but obviously I have to finish my coffee before I do anything :D After that I think I will be taking a leaf out of JackieO's book and updating my freezer list.

Hope you all have a good Sunday x

Nothing much planned, I have lemons so a lemon drizzle cake is on . The oven is playing silly b's everything is cooking on one side and I have to turn it up high to get stuff to brown. Fortutanely I have the combi micro which I can use if I have to for the meat and the remoska for the spuds if OG wants roasties.

The chap is here in the loft looking at the insulation, he says it needs topping up regardless as OH is on attenance allowence, so we will see what happens now, he has taken photo's to send in to the office. he says it is some condsiderable time since it was done and any grant will have expired.

Right I am off, I am going to light the stove........

    Morning all,

No sun here, but no rain either, its a nice blowy day so I have a load on the line, and my bedding in the wm, should hopefully get dry today.

OH put my new lamp up yesterday, took us ages, but it looks beautiful :T, will try and het a photo up later, my camera's batteries ran out yesterday.

I want to do the final coat of paint on the woodwork in the utility today, and get some little fiddly jobs out of the way, then take little dog out for a long walk, and home to roast pork with all the trimmings.

DD slept at her friends last night, so she will not be back till later, I might make a bread pudding up later, as I have bread which needs using.

Camelot, I would mix the pasta with some mayonaise and have it cold, or mix with a pasta sauce, grate some cheese over, and heat in the oven xx

Ok better get on, have good days all xx

    :bdaycake:Happy Birthday Martin :money:xx

    Good Morning.

Nice bright day up here, but a bit cold. I have a wee bit of a sore head because I lay far too long. Hopefully I'll shake that off, soo enough.

Never got to see the Dneice and Dnephew yesterday as SIL has decided she is scared of my dog! No mention of it over the last two months, she's seen her on Skype and everything. I am boiling mad about it. Apparently their uncle who was a bit of a rogue, had Staffies which were really ferocious when they were children, and she was scarted of them, and has decided this means she'll be scared of mine. Twenty years I've known her, and never known her to be scared of anything, or so illogical about anything, and it's really annoyed me. I am not leaving my dog in the house on her own for hours on end, she gets left alone on her own enough when we're at work, etc. This means I'll need to pop up on my own for an hour later and leave the rest of them here, as we've got shopping and things to do and she'll be in alone then. Sorry, rant over. I suppose I am disappoited more than aything, usually they all come here for dinner etc. when they visit, so that will be off the cards too, no doubt.

OS wise, WM is on, Hetty is out and I will vacuum myself this morning and give the boys a day off, need some food shopping, and the boys need socks, theirs are wearing out a lot just now for some strange reason.

I need some bark and other things for the garden, too, and would like to see to that today, it's looking a lot better after my attack yesterday, but still loads of grass to pull out of one border. My anenomes and some other things I've planted are coming up, although I can't remember what everything is! It's all sprung to life this past week or so. Dinner tonight is HM curry I think, lunch is HM sausage rolls which I nade yesterday, boys will have the for pack up tomorrow, too.

Have a lovely day. Hupgs to Diva, PenPin, NPM and Ladygrim, and you too, if you need one!

:D Are you really, really dirty? :p Sorry your SIL is being a pain. :(

Day off today and it's sunny :jSo I will be gardening all day. Some things need moved as they are under attack from the hens and I may have inadvertantly bought some new plants this week without noticing so they need planted too
Shopping needs done as well but I have to meal plan first so will get the cook books down in a minute. Wahing and ironing is up to date and house is pretty clean so hopefully we can enjoy the sunshine. Roast beef for dinner but not sure if I'll do it with the works or salad instead.

Better go. The caffeine in my bloodstream is running low.

    Hi everyone,

I've not been on much because we've been entertaining our US visitors. They've gone off to Cambridge today with DH and SIL. I'm recovering from yesterday's visit to the quilt exhibition at the V & A. It was truly spectacular, I wish I had that sort of creativity and attention to detail.

I made a new recipe yesterday, beef in chianti from a recipe on the M & S website. It was delicious done in the slow cooker. DS rang just as we sat down so I told him and g/f to come across as I was sure there would be plenty left. When i walked back into the room it was to find that it had all gone so I had to defrost some chicken.

Will be making the economy gastronomy slow cooked lamb for tonight with new pots and veg, yummy.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Afternoon all
GP has started so I finally get a few minutes peace.
JackieG it's a shame Staffies have got a bad reputation, my DD has one & a staffie cross & they are both good with the grandchildren.
I've made a start on some dressmaking, a couple of tops & the corset.
Roast lamb for tea tonight, hubby's had a burger for lunch & a cooked breakfast.
    Have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester

    Afternoon all.
What a rainy drizzly mizzly day again.
I have sown lots of Kale seeds(28p in wilkos) in the hopes that we will have a few plants for the winter greens.
Last year's left over seeds did nothing at all.
Been to Asdas this morning in the newly mended car (over £400 of fixes),it was a lovely smooth drive.
Just having a cuppa then off to town for a tin of pineapple for a pizza for tea. Ive been thinking of buying a tin all week for the purpose but forgot completely when I was in Asda.
    Bye for now
