Expedia Flights & Checked Baggage Fees

I have booked a multi-trip holiday to the USA using expedia.co.uk. Ive only just noticed that there 'may' be checked baggage fees with some airlines.
Having checked my booking there is nothing relating to checked baggage which according to expedia's website it appears internal flights will incure a checked baggage fee. http://www.expedia.co.uk/daily/flights/luggage-rules/default.aspx
They also state that it is usually cheaper to prepay these fees online rather than at the check-in desk. However, it doesn't explain how you can pay these fees. I have checked the airlines websites and you need to have booked directly with them to do anything online.
I havent received a response from expedia in a week concerning my query. Am I just going to have to pay at the desk?

Continental and United. Both internal flights. Flying Air France into New York but flight operated by Delta.:hello:v :money:0

You will be fine on the transatlantic flights, first checked back is free.
It's probably worth checking, but you will almost defiantly be charged for the internal flights, as follows:
Continentalt- $23.00 per sector
United- $25.00 per sector

Have fun- sounds like you have an exciting trip planned!0 -
Once you select your itinerary with Expedia, on the page where you have to click to say you understand the T&Cs it does specifically state that baggage may be extra and at least when I checked, said specifically what the charges are before you commit to booking.
Fees may be charged by airlines for services such as preferred seat selection and baggage handling. Please note that fees are determined by the airline you check in with and may change at anytime. To add these items to your reservation please call the customer service team at 08712229484.
Below that was a list of the baggage fees, prices for priorty seating where available and prices for meals where available.
I don't know if that number is specific to the airline I just checked or is an Expedia number - but maybe you could price up your itnerary again and see if the same number comes up and call them if you want to add bags.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Just going to pay at the airport.:hello:v :money:0
