I've recently purchased some of the Sketchers Shape Ups - i chose them because i have a really high instep and cannot get my feet into the fitflops and the shape ups have an adjustable strap over the foot. They rubbed the top of one of my feet but i've stuck with them and a week later they've stopped rubbing - my thighs have been aching but not sure if that's the shoes or the fact i did a 10 mile charity walk on Saturday night!!!

Hope no one minds me bumping and talking about a different pair of 'toning' flip floppers, but I didn't want to start a new thread as it's not really a new 'bargain buy'. BuyCosmetics have 'TrimSoles' at £19.95 - http://www.buycosmetics.com/trimsole-footwear/10556-classic-vibrant-red.aspx (Or you can buy 3 pairs for about £50.) P&P is £1.95 and can't see any codes. Has anyone tried TrimSoles and can say whether they work/are comfy? I've not come across any reviews for them but they definitely look quite nice.

Apologies - I have at last replied to your PM re the trimsoles!

And for anyone else interested - they killed me - for all the right reasons! Muscles ached and towards the end of the walk, my bum was killing me! Brilliant - and so much cheaper than the Fitflop brand which is way over priced. And I found buycosmetics to be very efficient in despatching them.

Thanks to the person that recommended them to me! I'd search back thru - but am pretty useless at finding anything....

I've just looked at the trimsoles, they look luuverly.I'm thinking of getting a pair. Does anyone know if you need a size up or down to what you normaly wear, or just your usual size? If that makes sense :o Thanx

Makes perfect sense! I'm a five and bought a five - fine!

Toe bit is a bit thicker than some I've worn, but got used to them. Not long been back from walking the dog and wore them as weather vaguely nice.... back of thighs and bum aches! Good ache tho!

  • Anyone else recommend the Trimsoles? They look pretty much the same as FitFlops. I guess with FitFlops you could be paying for the name.
  • And I found buycosmetics to be very efficient in despatching them.

Says on the website, allow up to 42 days for delivery. That's a bit too long to expect to wait for them to be delivered.

    Blimey.............

got mine in a few days - but I did order some months back. You don't suppose that due to it being summer now that they have alot on order? Still seems excessive! Email them and see what they say.

I point blank refuse to be blackmailed by 'labels' - hate being ripped off. I started a thread on here about fit flops and someone very kindly gave me the link to trimsoles and buycosmetics. Very grateful I am too!
