Has anyone tried these? Did you see any difference after wearing them?

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.

I've got a pair of each and to look at they are identical, very comfy but I can't be certain if it was down to them or not, but my legs do feel more toned after wearing them all summer, however I was losing baby weight at the same time so hard to say.0

I've had my Fitflops for a couple of years now - they're very comfortable and great for walking in, only unfortunately cos I've worn them so much the toepost bit has stretched and they don't feel so secure on my feet now so I bought myself some Shape-ups last week. They're amazingly comfortable, really spongy, the sloped back bit is a bit strange at first, but only when going up steps or hills. I've heard people say their legs were aching after wearing Fitflops and shape-ups at first but I've never experienced that. I can't say I actually felt it working, but I did a lot of walking in them in the last 2 years and have lost 8st (I was dieting as well!) so I'm sure they helped tone me up as I was doing it.

I hope these type of things do work as I just bought and waiting on the Reebok Easytone trainers, managed to get 10% off them from Cloggs.0

I don't have any flitflops or MBT's but I would think that you'd have to do a lot of walking in them to make a difference!0 -
I've had MBTs and have fitflops. I didn't notice any difference with either, the MBTs did cause me to lose blood through blisters though (certain types have hard plastic moulding at the heel which can dig in, I had no spare shoes, no spare cash for the bus/train so had to walk home for 3 hours in them, I'd have gone bare foot but it was november and I managed to 'breathe' through the pain!), as its plaastic in the heel and not leather, they wont ever wear in so are useless, I wont be getting MBTs again!
Fitflops seem to need some wearing in- the fabric which is just before toe posts rip the skin at my toes (I mean rip: there are flaps of skin which are too thick to cut off and lots of blood) toe post covers do not cover this fabric unfortunetly, and sometimes the bit near my instep on new pairs rubs but this is easily prevented with blister plasters or 'sore spot' patches. But once they do wear in? they are sooooo comfy! I have last years pair and they do not cause me any irritation anymore but a new pair I have this year have repeated what happened with last years pair last year (IYSWIM!)
I did not notice any difference with either pair. But I do go to the gym quite a bit so it could be they are just not enough for me in comparison. I do think the fitflops are excellent if you have broad feet and are otherwise sentenced to havianas and birkenstocks (can get v.boring). I have not tried the sketchers or avon pairs as I think the fitflops branded pairs look alot prettier

I lost it doing the Cambridge diet - extreme but effective. It actually took me 9 months but spanned 08-09 so I say over the last 2 years. I was aiming to lose 10st but got to 8 and lost my way a bit for a few months due to relationship probs and money issues so back to it now to try and lose the rest.

A couple of people have mentioned the Avon ones - but I have had a look on their website and can't see them. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Also the MBT websites all look rather dodgy... where did you get yours from?Man plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. Hi,
I got the Sketchers ones last month. I sometimes feel my legs aching when I get back from work - 40 min walk up hills - but haven't noticed the difference yet... Early days I guess!
I saw you can get them from barratts with 10% quidco cashback.
Might look into fitflops for the summer too.0
