Fed up of my credit report - have to check it again

I have a mortgage £42k, paid every month no probs. all & leic premier account, £1k goes in on the 15th of each month all bills paid, been cutting back really hard, got o/d of £550 -they wont increase it at all, very unfriendly. Been under my o/d for a month but some idiot has cashed one of my cheques late for my gym and its caused me to go over so £25 charge and £5 a day till i get paid the 15th.
I have a tesco cc which has £30 left on it limit is £2k and its close to that, after i really shopped well this weekend saving on food and filling car with petrol.
so no other debt than that.
But checked my credit report as i had tried to do a balance transfer to another credit card and never done it before.
My credit report shows a (2) on all and leicester account and that because its gone over my overdraft for two months, but also showing owing £45 to co-op bank which was closed and settled over two years ago, so I have written to co-op as they cannot take query over phone as I do not have account details and cant email them either.
Have emailed experian too.
I am in process of applying for better jobs and i only get 1k amonth, and pay for my child support etc and all bills paid, no luxuries such as sky or films or anything, no days out, no frills at all, defo no holiday.
I don't know how I am going to manage this year if I dont get a better clerical paid job that can get rid of my overdraft, I have successfully cut back for three months and I can see no difference in my bank account.
Last gym payment 16th may £28. (dont go anymore)
work 8-6pm four days a week with one day off so may have to find a job for my days off.

What's the question?0

She wrote a cheque, spent the money and is upset that the person she wrote the cheque to had the audacity to cash it, which put her over her overdraft limit, thus incurring charges.0

I am annoyed about my credit report which is incorrect showing I owe £45 to the co-op bank when the accounts were closed over two years ago.
The cheque I sent on the 16th april and they cashed it monday. They usually cash it three days after the 16th. What I was saying was that I had done really well keeping under my overdraft but I am now back to square one with the charges and all & leic will not budge with them.
I try really hard to manage my money. I have not bought any clothes for six months or gone out anywhere for more than six months. And I have to duck out of invitations to weddings etc as I know I cant afford it.
Has anyone else had problems with their credit report being incorrect?Mortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230 -
Who closed the account? You or the Coop?
Did you repay everything they asked or did they write it off?
Have you got the closing statement?0 -
I closed the account over the phone, after writing ages before that to close it and i checked online and i noticed it was still open and it was charges from them for not keeping the account in credit. they agreed to write them off and that was the end of it. Never had a chasing letter from them and i have never moved address.

Without, I hope, sounding too harsh, you are spending more than you have to spend.
Remedy equals, spend less or earn more, it really is that simple.0 -
If I could earn more I would, its called applying for higher paid jobs which I have been doing for two years and getting nowhere. I have very litte debt and have been in control of it for years, even making overpayments on my mortgage. trouble is everyone in same boat, petrol goes up, food prices go up, the salary does not. I dont spend apart from food petrol and bills. No luxuries, only one present for my daughter for her birthday which is embarrassing, even missing seeing her cause i can not afford to pick her up.
the cc debt has come from, car servicing (cheap too!), mots and car tax and emergency repairs on my house. yes I accept i created the debt but I have to have a life otherwise i get depressed. I cant go for a drink with friends either. Even with no debt at all my bills total £700 (all paid) then i have £300 to last me the month. Not possible unless I stop paying child mtce, ccl tax, and mortgage, tel bill is £0 cause I dont phone anyone to save money. No sky, broadband £7.50 month, everything is cheapest ever.
I am trying really really hard and it does not help when i get invited to parties etc and have to say no and stay in.Mortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230 -
Any reason why you are obsessively checking your credit report?0
-
I wish you luck, you seem like a decent person struggling to make ends meet, just like me

If the Co Op thing is a mistake, they will have to remove it from your credit record.

If you write a cheque you need to allow for it when calculating your balance and spending further from your account. We all make these mistakes but please don't blame the recipient of the cheque for claiming their money0
