Mc Donalds Coffee

Im quite partial to a Mc Donalds coffee in the morning , but my local ones machine does not seem to fill the cup since they have changed it to some fancy touch button one, its always about 1inch gap at the top (its even under the mark the side of the cup) , anyone else notice the same or is it just my local one, i always get them to top it up with water which is a pain asking everytime :D

You never get a full cup. Also, another rant about McDs coffee is that the white coffee the machine produces is crap, so I get black and ask for milk.
But now McD's have switched to this terrible mike tubes which have hardly any milk in.

If their machine fills it to the brim, Mrs Brady Old Lady (she with the shoogly hands) might accidentally throw burning hot coffee all over herself and be casseroled in a latte/lavender gravy.

And where would she stand then ?

The lid does a good job of preventing a spill isn't that's what its for ?

I agree it shouldn't be to the brim but over 1inch from the top is a bit much !

The coffees pretty bad anyway. So by under filling they're doing you a favour

I always have latte as the 'normal' coffee is vile.

    Nah... it'll never happen.

Don't they have "caution, contents may be hot" on the side?
That means no-one will spill it, doesn't it? :D

Ah,but if you buy 6 you get a free one-so stop moaning;)
Or ask for ice-that'll fill it up.
Went shoplifting at the Disneystore today.

Got a huge Buzz out of it.
  • It saves them money and they can list it under "healthy and safety" when questioned.

Different company but when I worked at Odeon we were told to fill the drinks a THIRD full with ice. Then add drink. Because it saved the cinema money. What on Earth they expected us to do when a customer specified "no ice" I don't know. We just used to sneak extra drink into the cup when managers weren't around.
