Haven't you guys learned that the only way to avoid getting ripped off involves being organized enough to make your own coffee?:silenced:They Were Up In Arms wrote: »I think tabskitten is a crying, walking, sleeping, talking, living troll :cool:0

Different company but when I worked at Odeon we were told to fill the drinks a THIRD full with ice. Then add drink. Because it saved the cinema money. What on Earth they expected us to do when a customer specified "no ice" I don't know. We just used to sneak extra drink into the cup when managers weren't around.0 -
McDonalds,
I always go with the hot chocolate
Odeon,
I take my own drinks into the cinema, even when the signs state no food or drink. Even our cinema had a McDonalds across the road, so i took my Big Mac Meal into the Cinema with me.0 -

I actually like McDs coffee better than the one I do myself, and for some reason it doesn't play havoc with my IBS like some other coffees do.
To keep down the cost I buy the vouchers off eBay for about £8.50 for 20.0 -

I always ask for no ice. If you really need ice, you can ask for no ice, and when they have filled the cup up with drink, change your mind, say sorry and ask for a small amount of ice to be added to the drink. Full cup + ice = happy drinker0 -
I've used the same loyalty card 6 times now at my local drive-thru and they've never asked me to hand it in.We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
