Hi , i renewed by phone last thursday and although my new payments have begun , i have not yet receivedmy papaerwork.

Have you noticed a change in your payment amounts etc?

If not , i would give the tax credit office a ring to check your renewal has been processed ok.

I've just got a renewal pack today through the post, could I renew over the phone then instead of sending the forms back? TBH it would be easier and at least I'd know that they have got the info although nothing has changed since we made the claim earlier this year.

    Thanks.

It's quick and simple over the phone. Your new payments will probably start a week or 2 later, thought you may not get your award notice for a bit longer. I phoned my renewal through on 29th April, got a backpayment on 6th May. I called 7th May and they told me what my payments will be starting next week. All in all a very quick and painless experience. HTH

I did my renewal via the phone 2 weeks ago last thursday and was told I should receive my paperwork within 2 weeks, rephoned on Friday and spoke to someone else and they told me it was a minimum of 2 weeks to get the paperwork, so dont know when to expect it

Personally i dont get too hung up on how long it takes the paperwork to arrive...as long as i see my new payments hitting my bank account then im happy lol

  • If youre worried about the possibility of the renewal not being recieved by TCO, just call the helpline. Even if a new notice hasnt gone out to you, one may still have generated on the system and they can see what your entitlement will be from that.
