Hi I recently renewed my contract with t-mobile for 18 month last month because I used to work for them and had a discount for half price line rental. I stopped working for t-mobile last year and when i renewed my contract over the phone with them i asked there representative would i lose my discount if i renewed?? (because part of the t&c's are if you leave the company you will lose the discount when it comes to renewal) but there representative answered NO it would stay on with no interruption so based on that i renewed my contract for 18 month however i recieved a text from t-mobile a few days ago saying my discount has been removed when i rang and explained they said they would forward it on to the discounts department who then rang me and said the discount has been removed and will not be added on no matter what i even advised them that i was told it would stay on by there advisor who renewed my contract but still they said i wont get it and they refuse to listen to the call as they are used for training purposes not complaints.
Have I got a leg to stand on can I take this any further?? your advice will be really appreciated.
Thanks

If he explicitly told you that you would get the discount, obviously the contract has been mis-sold, and I would therefore pursue it. The difficulty is convincing T-Mobile that he actually said yes.The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

Have you signed anything or is the contract verbal based on the call they refuse to listen to? If so, they can't have it both ways. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.

A mate of mine worked there and then moved on but has had his discount for at least 2 years now. Only problem is I think he is limited in choice of phones so upgrading is tricky. Its something like staying on a particular tariff or something and he keeps his discount.0
