Setting up Router

I have an internet connection at home and I plan to put a router so that my mother can also use the connection. But my problem is, I don't know how to set it up. Anyone who knows here?

What's the make and model? Will she be connecting to it wirelessly or through ethernet?

Unless you plan to get your router from a skip, it will come with a comprehensive user manual which explains everything that you need to know. Even if you did get it from a skip, you could download the manual from the manufacturers website in minutes!

I am shocked and appalled, this is another symptom of broken Britain
Skip should be prosecuted under SOGA for not providing adequate user information.
I bet their customer helpline is rubbish too.

But wouldn't you need to have the router working to download the manual ? :D:D:D

No, the router is only necessary to share with mum and they can definitely post on here without a router!
