Ok, so upgraded to HTC desire from an n95 a couple of days ago and the phone arrived today. They have sent me 3 handsets, each worth 400 quid, clearly by mistake.
Advice if you can offer it!?!.....i am a poor student and if i could flog them on ebay it would be a massive bonus....maybe not the right thing to do though :S
Where do i stand? What can/will vodafone do??

I would advise Vodafone of this error, they might try and bill you for three accounts, or if they come looking for it and you've flogged them on ebay.. you would be in serious bother!:exclamatiTo the internet.. I need to complain about something!0 -
This has happened before, deliveries are recorded so they will know where they have gone. All because they were posted to you does not mean they belong to you, there is a law about this but i forget the name. You can be sent and accept gifts in the post, but where something like this has happened they do not belong to you.
As you know the owner, vodafone. Contact them and get them shipped back unless you want a bill for £400x2 or potentially more if they setup 3 accounts!
Playing the student card won't help, im a student too but then again i hate shopping and spending :P!Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
yeh you make a good point but it is so tempting to leave it a few weeks and stick them on ebay....i dont know what to do!!0
