Ryanair have booke me the same flight twice

I have just received my credit card bill showing a charge for a flight I booked from Bologna to Stansted which at the time of booking said an error had occurred with my credit card and had therefore not been successful. I tried to book it again and it came up with the same error message so I tried to book it again against my debit card and this time it went through. I have now received 2 confirmations for the same flight (with different booking references) one charged to my visa and one charged to my debit card. On checking the web site the only contact number is a premium rate (£1.00 per min). I have noticed some threads suggesting you can contact your card issuer to sort out a refund, can anyone offer any advice on how to get my money back?

When did you book the flight? If you spot the mistake straightaway Ryanair should sort it for you.

I booked the flights on the 20/04/10, only just got via bill so have only just noticed. Will I need to call the premium rate number?

Surely you noticed that you had two confirmations? If you check www.saynoto0870.com there are other numbers available, there are also cheaper numbers on the Ryanair website.

I booked the flights for my husband so the email confirmations go to his email box and he works abroad so doesn't always check his email regularly (aah)!!!
