Mobile Insurance for HTC Desire or smartphones

I know MSE are updating their info at the moment, but as I've just got my new HTC Desire I wondered if anyone had used insureandgo

http://gadget.insureandgo.com/

Their gadget insurance which includes mobiles seems really cheap at £42 a yr?

Anyone had a bad experience with them? Seems to cover loss, accident damage etc.

And any recommendations for phone insurance?

Thanks in advance

  • I've got to be honest and never even heard of insureandgo before, but then again it's not something I'd looked hugely into! I'm sure someone else will be along soon who has had experience of insureandgo.

My own recommendation (and o2's as well) was to put my iPhone on my contents/home insurance, which came to just shy of £35 for the year (to add it onto the current policy). That covers loss, theft, accidental damage - the standard package. How good it is when you come to claim, I have no idea as *touch wood* there have been no problems so far.

    Hope this helps!
