I'm having nothing but trouble with my bt broadband lately the orange light keeps flashing and i can't get online, i contacted bt about this and they went through loads of tests with me in the end they sent me a new hub but after a couple weeks the same thing is happening again with my hub and i'm not very happy.
I want to get out of my contract and get a dongle from 3 i can't keep having this problem with the orange light it's really annoying and all bt seem to do is send me a new hub.
My question is if you are having issues with the hub and are not happy can you end the contract?

I would see if you can do a quiete line test as you may have a noise on your voice line filtering accross onto your broadband connection which is probably knocking out the broadbband.
I have just said this in an earlier post to check for providers in your area which will most likely help get the fault fixed http://www.dslzoneuk.net/isp_ratings.php0 -
OP, do you have noise/crackling on the line? First do a quiet line test as suggested above. Do you have ADSL filters on all active extensions (including any Sky boxes), have you tested these with known good ones?
Are you connecting wirelessly or by ethernet?
Have you retested the connection from the BT test socket behind the master socket?
Without knowing what tests BT have already made with you, and more about your set up, it's hard to give further advice. No free lunch, and no free laptop
