    ok ive had a good fiddle around with the wire and connections and the light is still on...think its a garage for me.

    Re. 'not included in MoT', surely it would be one of those 'other items' if the light were on the whole time. A tester can fail a car on any other thing he considers unsafe which I would have thought must surely include a possible malfunctioning airbag (though it's more likely to be just a problem with the warning system rather than the bag itself)

    Just wanna say a big thanks for all the advice on here...had a wee fiddle under the passenger seat this morning and bingo the light has went out!
