VickyA,
Don't you just hate it when you get people like that grumpy git jeweller you went to. Who do they think they are. Glad you got a good deal with the other place. :money:“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. What makes me really mad is that they're having a big campaign in our local paper to "Shop Locally" and supporting small businesses.
If anyone lives near Newmarket, I can tell you of a jeweller to AVOID. And if anyone lives near Lincoln, I can give you the name and address of a very very helpful jeweller who does a good job at a good price with good service.
PS Just worked out how to get this: :money: !!!!Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 #18 £2021.83 declared0 -
At last, the saga has ended. I went into town today and collected my repaired ring. You can't tell it's been repaired (which is obviously the point) as the stone is a perfect match. The other jeweller had eventually stumped up the £25, so I handed over my tenner and walked out with my ring on my finger.
One very happy and relieved little Ticklemouse
