Incorrect router password with Windows 7 only

Options
Hi all,
I have a Belkin wireless G router, and all of a sudden I can't login to it using my laptop, wired or wireless, with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Every time I try the router says the password is incorrect. However, on the same laptop using Vista, on my HTC Hero and on my iPod Touch I can access the router fine using the same password. The internet connection is fine. I've tried re-starting the router and the laptop. I've changed the password (to the same one) using my iPod. Any ideas anyone?
Many thanks

Can you connect OK by ethernet? An Ethernet connection does not require any password.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

I'm assuming you mean logging into the router admin pages and not logging in to your local network. I fail to see how the operating system can influence that it is more likely to be something wrong with the browser settings so I'd suggest that you download and try a different browser (google chrome, opera, or firefox for example) to confirm or disprove it is a windows 7 issue.

After entering the password are you pressing "Enter" on your keyboard or clicking the login button using the mouse?

I had a similar problem when trying to log in to my dad's router. Eventually found out that pressing enter didn't submit the password, you had to click login.

Are all the keyboards mapped the same, no US settings etc.

This could mean some symbols would not be consistent, I know it has only recently happened but worth a check that nothing has altered.
    Move along, nothing to see.

Hmmmm. That's the one-works fine with Chrome. So what could it be? I have Vista with IE 8 on another partition and that works fine, as does IE 8 64-bit within Windows 7. I've changed no settings.

OK, turns out it was a small application that I downloaded from Lightspeed Panel. Uninstalled and everything's fine. Thanks for all the help everyone.
