well despite my message about the addition of it dont work, it sold to the bloke for a fiver and 1p. he hasnt paid yet or replied to my message so what happens if he comes back and says he dont want it.

obviously ill agree and leave it at that but will he still be able to neg me if we decide not to follow through the purchase?

on the upside he has previously bought broken mobile phones.

why do people buy broken mobiles? my fully working one only sold for 2 quid, a knackeed one for a fiver.

Unfortunatley you can't assume anything and even if you write it in big red letters as someone suggested they still might not read it but at least you're covered and open about it.

I had a smiliar experience when selling an empty perfume bottle. I listed it as an empty bottle ideal for collectors. (in bold green lettering) My feedback was - 'no fun selling an empty bottle'

People read and interpret what they want, I'd make it VERY clear now.

My guess would be the buyer probably wants the screen out of it to replace a broken one.

  • Some people buy phones to recycle at tesco and get points. You get 300 points (£12 in deal tokens) if it turns on but only 50 if it doesn't - so he can't want it for that!
