Don't know if this is any help .
I went on a cruise ( I was only 19 ) by myself . I had money , and wanted to see some sights of the Med.
I had a wonderful time , everyone thought I would be lonely , so they all went out of the way to include me.0 -
I've been on snowboarding holidays on my own, and met loads of people..
went through SCUK snowboard club, they organise a winter bash and you all go along and have a blast9/70lbs to lose0 -

I found Solos very good and would recommend them to anyone. They seem to choose good hotels and have an English rep.
Just You were not so good, although I only used them once. The Hotel was in the middle of nowhere.
Saga tends to be much older people generally. I haven't used them, but met other people on holiday with them.
Hope you find something that suits you. Check out their websites and forums.0 -

In my opinion solos holidays are a bit expensive. What do you think?
Thanks for your good advice anyway.;)0 -

Yes there is an annual membership. Spice isn't particularly cheap but it is a big national organisation with thousands of members and local meet-ups etc. so it's good for building a social life. After a while we formed a break away group and arranged our own trips but it's great if you want to do stuff that your friends don't.
I forgot to say they do evenings and day events too, which are good for a taster. I think you can go along as a guest to try it out.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0 -
