"OP I do hope they have arrived now?"
My neighbours tell me they arrived just after 5pm, having promised a 11am - 2pm delivery slot. I explained to the helpdesk for Tesco Direct that I had to leave at 4.45pm for a vets appointment. They told me at 2.10pm that they were on there way and would be there within an hour. That was the last I heard from Tesco. If they had engaged with me and phoned to explain I would have felt less annoyed at having spent most of the day waiting in the house for them to arrive. I believe that customers deserve good service, whatever the industry. Yes, people get delayed but a call to the customer is not too much to ask. Tesco Direct is a big area for them but I do believe they need to consider the kind of service they offer.0
