In all my time shopping at Tesco I have NEVER had one of these till "spit-outs" that people keep talking about! Am I being picked on, or just buying the wrong things?

Do you have a Tesco Clubcard and if you have did you tick to refuse any Special Offers when you applied?

I did my last trip to make use of the tokens before they ran out today :(

I had no 50 point vouchers left and only 3 of the £1 ones but I still managed to get £20 worth of toiletries for £2. I've done this four times now and my cupboards are bursting with shampoo and the CC points have risen nicely. I'm off to share my goodies with some friends tomorrow.

When are they doing this promotion again? :rotfl:

Well done Molly I too used the last of my healthcare ones and managed to get pack 6 slimfast shakes for 90p instead of £4.90 and a ton of vitamins for just a few pennies ( I had a load of other vouchers too)
Anyone had any luck using the current fashion vouchers without buying clothes?
I have been given (instore) some money off vouchers to spend on adults and children's clothes i.e £4 off when you spend £20 on children's clothes they go up in value to £10 off a £50 spend on any clothes. I was wondering if you could use them if you havem't purchased clothes?? Anyone tried it? They are valid until 2/9

IME it doesn't work, you do have to buy clothes.

BUT you could buy £20+ of kids clothes and £30+ of women's(or whatever the voucher specifies) and hand in all 3 of the coupons. Other clothing coupons I have had have scanned together, and this way you will have fulfilled all the coupons in one go.

Choose your cashier carefully though, a young lad is best!

Then check out at home what you want to keep and maybe return one or two items that 'don't fit' ;) (I wouldn't return all of it though, a bit obvious and a canny CS may well notice that you used coupons and adjust your refund accordingly).

BTW, a big thankyou to the nice peeps who pm'd me and sent me some of the Health & Beauty coupons!

    :T THANKYOU!

I managed to use most of them, just had a few healthcare ones left as they are so difficult to find products they work with!

This promotion may well be repeated in about 6 months time because these same coupons were around before - late last year I think....that time I bought them on eBay as I had not discovered this site then. But it was useful practice for this time around as I had sussed some of the glitches before! :D

  • Westy, did you ever have a temporary card - one of the paper ones which you then registered on tesco.com. I had a temp card and did this and ended up with a duplicate card.

    Welshy x

No I've had my card for ages, no temporary card. Nice to get extra vouchers though :D (Every little helps!!)
Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)
  • Guys what I am going to do today - without the buzz of getting toiletries my shopping is going to be boring !!!!

  • I am going to arrange the toiletries I am going to keep, and divide the ones I am going to give as Christmas presents. We are off to a Bank Holiday market later, so I will look out for some pretty (bargain) baskets to make toiletry hampers.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D
  • well welsh you will just have to find a product with an offer on on points like the freeview boxes....extra 500 points....as i mentioned in an earlier post... go and have a cuppa.. and then take it back for refund:D ..

hay no product to keep but an extra £20. to spend at mfi:D

  • I shopped at Netto today and I had to shop without using any vouchers ....... it didn't feel right !!! got some nice bargains though and spent this morning walking around a local car boot. Had some lovely bargains 3 pairs of new school trousers for £1.00, designer boys jeans for £1.00 (yes I know it will take him 4 years to grow into them but they were lovely), a fur cat radiator bed for £1.00, some plants for the garden oh and lots more !!

Off to Teskay's this pm - run out of cat litter so will look for any extra point items whilst browsing
