WELSH-DRAGON wrote:well taxiphil - nice avatar btw - I have just been scouring the Tesco website (too much time on my hands) and the other thing I found to get with my £1.00 healthcare vouchers was:
Slim Fast Chocolate Shake 12 Servings 450g or the Strawberry one same size which is currently on sale at £4.49 on bogof so would mean paying £2.49 for 2 lots.

Thanks Welshy! Just been trawling the T website and think I've spotted another use for the £1 healthcare vouchers.
Tesco Complete Multivitamins And Minerals 90s - £2.58 - BOGOF
So 2 packs (180 tablets) should, in theory, come to £1.58 after the voucher. Not a giveaway but still a good deal.
I presmue they're included under Healthcare as they're listed under it on their website.0 -
Just to let you know that I've used the healthcare vouchers on vitamins, and they've been accepted - no problems at all with the cashiers, or with the tills.;)'Into every abyss I still bear the blessing of my affirmation' (Friedrich Nietzsche)0

I have been prowling these chat forums for a month or so but just recently threw myself into the swing of things as have some spare time on my hands... and i swear i am now addicted to it!
Received my Tesco statement yesterday and I had £6, after reading so many of your threads Im now determined to take this points building seriously and save save save for a new kitchen.. or part thereof at MFI.
So... armed with my husband in tow.. telling him all about wombling and to keep a keen eye out for till spits etc we just headed off to Tesco.
I used most of my statement vouchers today in our big shop, nothing too fancy ... I didnt get a free mars bar or shopping bag like most of you seemed to have got but I cant be too upset.
Was racing around eyeing off all the BOGOF's and getting excited... I used to shop at Asda but this is so much more fun! I went to the pharmacy and asked about any goody bags...my husband thought I was mad.. and so it seemed did the two ladies working behind the counter as they had never heard of such a thing. oh well worth the ask.
I got a few printer cartridge and old mobile phone bags to send away for some extra points from customer service and queried about the Clubcard plus account, was given a phone number and after speaking to them on my mobile in the store.. the application form tis on its way.
Last week I was trying to find the Health & Beauty vouchers and no one knew what i was on about either.. but today there were about 50 lodged against the pharmacy counter - ekk! 24 hrs before they expired.. i went a tad wild..hoping when I went to the till that it would work.
SA looked friendly enough at the till so went with her hoping she'd let me put a few of the vouchers through...
Managed to put 2 each of the 2.50 and the 1.00 off vouchers as she wouldnt let anymore go through and .....wait for it... TEN of the 50 points!!!! also with my statement vouchers and shopping got another 307 points ontop of that.. so in total 807 - In one night I have already beaten last quarters statement lol so impressed!!
Anyhoo... just thought I would express my joy.. and say hello to all you folks... today I also printed off my letters to Halifax and natwest for about £2000 in fees... will be sending off on Tuesday recorded delivery so willl let yas know... fingers crossed. Once i conquer them will be sending off to GE Money (x 3 accounts) and Abbey. :j0 -

Hi Starrunner,:)
And welcome! This site is great indeed, I've learnt so many things since discovering it, and I'm so grateful for all this knowledge. Hiya starrunner and welcome to MSE and these boards  it is lovely to see new people joining in, and benefitting too. Like MBN said knowledge is power. I have learnt so much from these boards and made some lovely e-friends too. Tescoing has never been so much fun !

Yesterday I received my club card statement along with my vouchers, but also got a second which had more vouchers in my name, but with a different club card number. As I only have one Tesco card I'm unsure how this has happened (but not too bothered
). Any ideas?

Alas, our local Tesco seem to have programmed their tills to sort this out.
I spent £20 on toiletries yesterday and handed over the extra points vouchers, all accepted ok (on the BOGOF of course), then I handed over the money off vouchers, 1 accepted and the till beeped, supervisor came over, said would only accept 10% off and whisked off again. Showed the guy on the till the voucher that said £2.50 off a £10 spend, got my shopping out to show him that I had bought the products and he said, no sorry, can't accept them.
So, I think it is game over for us, they probably just accept the money off OR the points.
Did buy a stereo at £50 that I promptly returned to customer services, so got my £7 off a £70 spend.
Got a handful of the vouchers that expire tomorrow and not sure if I can be bothered, might have to travel further afield.
Did see a CD system that was £60 with 999 extra points on it, didn't have them in stock but might go back and get one!
For the main shop this week I spent just over £50, £30ish at Asda (£15 off in coupons) and £20 in Waitrose (£15 off in coupons).
Think I will be avoiding Tesco for a while!0
