Hi,
Thought I'd be cheeky and ring Viking customer services, apparently those of you lucky enough to have got the Luxury Massage varient was because they had run out of the non massage type and gave you a free upgrade to maintain your custom and their reputation.
I did ask what the chances were of it happening again, but the CS rep said they still had loads of "normal" ones left, so very slim that any of us that haven't as yet taken up this bargain will get an upgrade from business class to first class!!!Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming ..... wow what a Ride!0 -
I bought the Neat ideas version and am very happy with it, however a friend who also bought one says it is not leather. He asked me if mine was smooth faced or dimply like his, and it was the latter. Is this the same material every one else received from Neat ideas? The description did state that the product had a leather front, but my friend is convinced it's plastic.0

- As you say, it is not "Leather Faced" as it says at the site & on the box, &
- It is not "High Back" as it says on the box. This would normally be at least 15-20cm higher.
Which one did you go for? Not that it makes much difference by the looks of it!
Capricorn Leather-faced Chair (this was my choice)
Leo leather-faced chair
I have to be pleased about the price though, & the fact that I received free delivery + 2 free items (of the 3 that the system accepted), as my order was above a certain amount.

I have the 'LEO' so it appears both models are not actually leather faced. Still think it's a bargain though.0

Well, to test the difference between PVC and leather you heat the surface with a lighter. If it blisters or melts then it's PVC, if it's leather it won't.
If it bursts into flames then dial 999 and don't mention my name.0 -
the £35 chair i had from viking a couple of years ago is falling apart now, so thanks for this0
