8 D batteries go in a battery pack under the seat, little wired remote for selection. Not tried it yet though.

Man! NO! I jus had that chair from hotdeals delivered and it ain't got a massage feature! Wish I had read the updated thread before assembling the thing! Now I am sitting on it, and I already feel like a CEO!

Now that I read the updated thread, I wish I could return this and instead order that one with the massage feature!! Pity I already assembled this one, and return conditions specify that they will only take back goods if they are unused, undamaged and in perfect original packaging. Bummer!

Anyway, apart from the missing feature I got it for 26 quid, and cashback from quidco of 1.4, so effectively 24.6 which ain't bad.

However, I have to say the chair is quite good, well padded, the gas lift looks solid, looks like it wil last a long time! Looking at the cost side, saves buying batteries too!

I think that Viking made a mistake in your order and gave you a better chair as their is no mention of it on the website on in my insturctions for this model.

Well I ordered one without reading to the bottom of the thread, so, if when mine arrives it hasn't got the massage feature, you'd better watchout Timbo because I'll hunt you down and rip that chair from under your botty!

From Ground to Top of seat is 53 cm, that's max height. Don't know about the better chair, but both chairs seem to be very similar, just a difference in naming possibly.
