Eventually did the snowballer last night, was very interesting to see that by throwing just an extra £100 p/m my DFD gets much closer and I pay SO MUCH less interest! Only did it roughly so will work out all the interest rates properly tonight to do it. Made me feel inspired.
Have a lovely election day all

Things going from bad to worse financially here and am losing motivation by the minute! Still, onward and upward...
So far today:- run washing machine overnight on cheap electric
- checked for surveys
- no point in checking bank on line as I know what it will say

- no NSD today as needed a few groceries (less than £2) and a key cut
- put 1 hour on car park ticket and got all my bits done in that time
- sent letters to CC companies and Inland Revenue offering token payments of £1 per month. They all refused in January, but my income has gone down yet again
- make dinner from meal plan - egg and bacon pie using up the supermarket eggs now that our chickens have started laying :j
- fill the oven with cookies/cakes whilst cooking dinner so only using one lot of electricity
- try to turn my face the other way up so it looks like I'm smiling

Sorry you seem to be having such a bad time of things. I want to ask if there's anything we can do to help. I suppose reallistically we can't, but I and others are wishing you well. Remember that you have to experience the rain to appreciate the rainbow.Proud to have dealt with my debts:
Lightbulb moment - Jan 08. Debts - circa 7k

Determined - I think you need to go somewhere quiet and have a good cry and a paddy - get it out of your system, you'll feel better afterwards.
You can do this - don't worry about a wobbly, we all need them to let off a bit of stress and steam,
Take care xx0 -
Some of you really seem to be having a rough time lately - I wish you all the best and I am sure you all have the strength to ge through your problems. It really will be worth it, no matter how hard it seems now.
Today:
- took breakfast & lunch to work
- I stopped looking at expensive light fittings for the landing (which I decorated at the end of last year) and bought a John Lewis budget one for 16 - I know I could probably get one cheaper but I trust JL and it was a good price for there
- made tea from freezer and store - massive sausage & pasta bake - will do a few days and a few for freezer!
Think thats all for today.Proud to have dealt with my debts:

determined - sending you lots of hugs and love...you're not cracking up just under lots of stress!!
worked today - managed 1.5 hours overtime then came home - need to get myself on that £10 a day challenge to force myself to do lots of overtime - i'm slacking.
Ohh i forgot to mention that last weekend i dyed my hair on my own - for £3 I've never done this before ( was very scared) and have for 15 years been paying £70 every 6 weeks or so for colour and cut.. Decided to have a go myself at dying it and am going to grow my hair for a bit ( only had one hair do this year in feb) It looks fantastic - highly recomend to anyone who is looking for extra ways to save cash!!! If i change colour i'll prob still go back to hair dresser but while i;m keeping it red i'm goign to do it myself!!! Had to share this with you all cause I'm so pleased about it!!
Have voted - won't be staying up for results as have a long day tomorro - Was asked to count votes today - 11 - 4.30 am and get £120 cash in hand but I just know it will be to omuch for me - even though the money would be wonderful!
Am soooo exited that its nearly friday - can't wait to finish work tomorrow!!Baby due 4th May 2013
January grocery challenge £2000 -
Some of it is down to conflicting advice from DWP - one dept advising us that now my JSA has finished DH should claim increase of ESA for me, but ESA are saying we'll be worse off doing that. It's causing huge rows with DH as "it's all my fault" (as per usual!)cherryblossom wrote: »Sorry you seem to be having such a bad time of things. I want to ask if there's anything we can do to help. I now have no income apart from £39 pm pension from ex employer. DH gets £90??pw ESA and we get £200pm from DS3. Trouble is, those extras affect our HB and CTB too. I did our SOA last week to send to CC companies and there is a deficit of £382 per month before looking at debts.
I am trying to set up a business, but in reality I can't even afford to do that. That has taken the wind out of my sails a bit and now have no motivation to make my samples.
Today, I just want to disappear and sit on the top of a remote mountain somewhere!
Sorry for the moan, but I do feel fractionally better having spilled it all out....Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0 -
sw did you see m post to u the other week?50% of ppl win a DLA appeal. Did you get support from an organisation to complete? I can give you some advice if you want to pm me?
Obviously it must be a full moon. I can get a bit nutty at times under stress (have been thru so much with my dd). I like the organised, motivated, determined me and then I fall apart and get all flakey and its hard to even think! oh said tonight he doesn't like it when I'm nutty! It'll pass over time as she grows up and if she can get the right support, if I can find the balance between loving and boundaried but its so hard... Only tomorrow and then 3 days off from work, hopefully that will give me some time to get my head togetherDF as at 30/12/16
