    Afternoon all!
Just back from yet another interview! Went OK - again they chucked out half of the candidates half way through and that only left 2 of us for formal interview - who knows maybe this time? (Hope so - getting very very very fed up of this now!) I now have every sympathy for anyone long term unemployed trying to get a job - it's very depressing being told NO all of the time! Still not heard from yesterday's so I'm assuming its a big fat NO!!

    Anyway, today I will....
    • Have all food from stores
    • Been to interview
    • Walk dog x3 for free exercise
    • Phoned parents on freee landline
    • Wait for THE call again!
    • Checked banks
    • Do any surveys that come
    • Finish off assignment ready for printing at school tomorrow
    • Watch the election stuff later - come on Cleggy!
    • Have a bottle of wine later - I've decided I deserve it after my horrid week (no teaching tomorrow, just paperwork so will be ok for a booze or two!)
    • Be nice to myself today - I think we all forget to do this sometimes and I need a break from the hard work and stress - I think a few of you should join me too - it seems many of us have had a hard couple of weeks
That's it for today - hope eveyone has a good day

P.S. Stitching witch, can I have a pet chicken?! :)
Of course you can have a chicken - well, have two as they need company.

Our lease doesn't allow livestock so we don't have any - just four amusing and productive pets ;)

I don't think it's that much different to having a whole aviary of budgies and far better than having a dog that barks all day AND all night as a couple of my neighbours have.

    Today I have:
Got a refund from 02 for an error they made; so that's £2 up
Sold some stuff to CEX and Cash Converters: Total £9.60
Sent off 4 books I sold on Greenmetropolis.com: Money will be in my account in a week, and I think that'll bring my total to around the £40 mark at the moment.
Tried to sell some other items to a specialist shop and some specialist books to a bookshop (both failed!)
Managed to get child bus fare despite being 24 so saved £1.30 on the daily pass.

Ok I'm officially unravelling and slightly nutty now. I went into town, was crying in the middle of the high st, bumped into one of oh friend's girlfriend, was completely mortified but tried to style it like nothing was going on (which she must have thought was weird seeing as I had a wet face, but I didn't want to wipe it and draw attention to it if she didn't see...). Then went into Debs - instead of printing off the voucher I printed off the email and the assistant started laughing to whioch I told him I found it extremely offensive he was laughing at me and left...:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o

Oh Determined new ms, we all have those days :o

Keep your chin up, chicken. You've been through so much the past few weeks. You really are holding it together for all your family - just remember to take care of yourself too.

    xx
