because of some of the offensive users on the forum.
Is it just me who has noticed this ?
I used to lurk on here years ago and people were friendly and helpful.
Then I joined and people couldn't help you enough and there was general empathy for people in trouble.
Now I cannot go through a thread without people being either offensive or critical.
I have got so bored with the following

I have got so bored with the following
- The predictable 'benefit bashers' who just call claimants 'scum' (there but for the grace of god go I !) without listening to their reasons why they are on benefits
- Trolls who make just the most stupid threads ie tax on fat people etc
- When someone comes on here for help from the community because they have done something wrong all they receive is criticism rather than help
- The online posturing by certain people which is pathetic
- The criticism of certain posters who really help other people
- The offensive / childish insults that are traded between some people
- Online bullying if there is a such a thing
Thanks to MSE I cleared £37k of debt in five years and I was lucky enough to meet Martin to thank him personally.

It seems a long time ago that the community was one of help, advice and support but now it seems to harbour all sorts of individuals who want to bring it down and I want to know why !
I do agree with you, but unfortunatley as the site grows and grows it attracts more and more bigots/idiots etc.
The only thing you can do is keep reporting them to abuse or vote with your feet and find another money saving site.0
